Why Hasn't My Timeline Saved!?

I've just spent three days editing two separate radio stories, and when I attempted to export the second one, Audition made me restart. Even though I've been saving the timelines religiously every 10 minutes or so since I started, when I reopened them, one was blank, and the other had reverted to a version containing only a few raw clips. I'm freaking out! Has anyone else had a similar problem? Is this possibly an issue with the new version of Audition (which I updated to 7 days ago) or with my computer? I've just lost a ton of work and am afraid to repeat the process only to have it happen again while I'm on deadline.

Not a known common problem with the latest version. Hopefully Autosave was on by default it which case most of your work should be safely backed up. Where it is depends on what the setting in Autosave's Preferences path was set to. By Default it should end up in your Creative Cloud under Assets/Files.

Thanks! I did end up finding the older of the two timelines there, but it looks like -- for some reason -- the last day and a half of work didn't sync with Creative Cloud (even though it appeared to be saving correctly). I don't know if that's related to the software update, my wifi, my computer or perhaps my anti-virus software (which has caused problems with my Time Machine backup), but I obviously need to figure it out ASAP. I just spent the last hour trying to re-create some of the lost editing only to find that, once again, the updates I completed didn't save -- either on my desktop or on Creative Cloud. Very frustrating!
