Why is Insert Into Multitrack Not Working from Right-Click?

When I right-click a wav, and then select "insert into multitrack" nothing happens. 6 second video here: Dropbox - Insert Into Mulitrack.mp4 - Simplify your life .

I can drag it into the multitrack fine, but, I feel like there's something I am missing. What is it about this operation that I am doing wrong?

      i'm having the same problem today. i rightclick and send to multi track, instead of inserting the selection in the selected track, from the cursor on, some have appeared at the end of that track, some dont even appear.

      You're not doing anything wrong - I'm afraid that this is a known bug discovered just too late to be fixed in the last update. There's another thread here about it: Inserting files into multitrack

      And there is also a FAQ about it: Audition April 2019 update build 12.1.0.182 - are you having trouble dropping files into Multitrack view?

      It's due to be fixed.
