why is pitch shifter so bad?

It’s all in the title. 

I’ve tried changing shift using audacity, here is the result :

Now, here is the result with audition :

Why is there such a difference? I’ve made sure the “multitrack” frequency is the same as the file. I tried changing “stretch” settings to “rendered” (even though I didnt stretch it).

Here are my settings, I’ve tried to make them as close as audacity’s as possible :

    Generally, using Stretch and Pitch works rather better, using the iZotope Radius algorithm - although the Stretch and Pitch option is not available in the Effects Rack; you have to use it standalone.

    Stretch and Pitch
     

    To shift just the pitch, set it up as the screenshot. You can put fractional amounts in the semitones box, and preview the result in the Preview editor before committing yourself to it.
