Will Audition 2017 work on my 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo?

Question

I need to do sound design for a film. I'm using a mid-2010 MacBook Pro with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

I meet all the system requirements listed for Audition but this one. I'm not sure what "Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support" means, tbh, but I don't want to purchase the product before I'm totally sure it'll work on my machine. If it won't work on my processor, will I be able to download a previous version that does work?

Run the trial version for 7 days. That's exactly what it's for.

Just make sure you're running OS X 10.10 or later

Yes but only as a paid up Cloud member. Members can download versions back to CS6.
