Won't update

As usual, having trouble with updates and Adobe is not helpful.  I use a native version of Audition CS6 as I use this program away from the internet, so Creative Cloud is useless to me.  Trying to update Audition and it only wants to install Creative Cloud and not do the update the native version.  Help.

    What update are you trying to get for CS6 and why you are trying to update it anyway? There weren't any further updates once the CC versions of Audition arrived.

    There is an update which allows you add images to audio files via the id3 tags.  I want that update.

    Actually that is the problem.  They stopped with the updates for Native versions once CC arrived.  I was told they would still support the Native version.  I'm guessing that was not entirely accurate.  After spending over 90 minutes on hold finally got someone to admit that that is correct.
