Workflow for recording a very large numbers of clips

We have an upcoming gaming project which requires the recording of a large number of dialogue clips (circa 20,000). Wondered if anyone has any tips or advice re how to create an efficient workflow particularly in the following areas:

  1. File naming - each clip will have a predefined file name related to the project so we're looking for possible ways to automate the naming of each clip as it recorded, perhaps referencing a source e.g. .csv or xml file or something. The idea being to speed up the workflow and minimise the margin for human error in the file names.
  2. Trimming silence - looking for the best way to trim the silence from the beginning and end of each clip without trimming any silence between the words in the dialogue
  3. Applying effects and file saving - there's probably a straightforward answer to this but any advice on how to apply favourites and save each clip in one click as it is recorded would be appreciated

Thanks in advance.
