Workflow - Markers & Time Stretch

For my podcast edits workflow I like to stretch time to 50% to work faster.
The markers are stuck to the session and waveform cannot stretch time as far as I know.
Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks? I tried to simply double the marker time but that's not too accurate and takes a lot of time when you have many markers.

Yes, multitrack markers are firmly attached to the session timeline and not any audio - as they have to be, if you think about it. Personally I wouldn't bother at all with trying to speed up editing by (I think you mean) shrinking the time on clips, simply because you'll lose any time you saved just sorting out the errors afterwards. Since speech is generally quite understandable at twice the speed and pitch, generally the best answer to scrolling rapidly through hours of stuff you don't want to use is to use the J,K and L keys with the playback speed (Edit>Preferences>Playback and Recording>JKL Shuttle Speed) set to Double Speed. It's not ideal, but it works. Admittedly what would be a lot better would be for it not to raise the pitch when you use it, but hey, you can't win them all. Well not yet, anyway.

The alternative is to look at using the conventional editing workflow, which involves selecting the material you want in Waveform view, putting a marker range around it, and using the marker panel and a right-click on a range to insert it into your multitrack session. After that it's just a matter of arranging the clips. This is what most radio stations do...
