Working on Audition after a version has been exported

I'm using Adobe Audition for the first time.
I have created a multitrack soundscape story  - my dialogue and other sound tracks and then exported it as a wav file.
I now want to replace the dialogue with a better one, with pauses in the right place. It seems this is not possible. Is that correct? Do I have to start all over again?

Since you have to select a folder and name a session (or use an automatically generated name) before you start one, I would have thought that it's still there, and all you have to do is re-open it! Then replace what you need to, and mix it down/export it again.

Just look under File>Open Recent. It should be at the top of the list, if you haven't done anything subsequently.

Thank you SteveG that worked very well and looks as if it's saved me a lot of time!

There would be a massive amount of complaints if you couldn't do that!
