Wow...so very disappointed

I;m using a very pricey subscribtion to Audition 13.  I got it because it supported plugins that version 3.0 does not.  That said...everything about version 3.0, which I OWN, is superior...especially when it comes to time compression.

I do a lot of network ads that need to be exactly :59 or :60.  3.0 can shave 3 or 4 seconds off without a hitch.  The current version causes several glitches.  Even when I've updated the program, features I've gotten use to are gone and the platform is no better.

I will NOT be renewing.  If you started using Audition after version 3, you don't know what a good program it was.

I guess it depends on your perspective.

I used to think the same - how could anything be better than Audition 3?

Well for me there is no way I would go back

I agree with the Audition 3 user. I am now a retired music teacher, but
use Audition to clean up recordings of the community band I play in.
Fijnally, Adobe provided me with Version 5-6, but I get the editing done
and then have to use another program to burn a CD. Adobe sure has fouled
up a good program so they can collect money on subscriptions. Adobe 3 is
an update to Cool Edit 2, which I used when I worked at a radio station.
They still use Cool Edit as Adobe's extra whistles and bells are not needed
for some basic functions. I tried Sound Forge and that was not the answer
either. All these software companies do this to programs that were basic
and functional. It is called job security for the programers.
