X Touch One Mapping Read/Write/Latch/Touch controls to function buttons
I just got my X touch one (I don't need a lot of channels, just something that can speed up writing automation) and I have almost everything working as expected in Audition/Premiere Pro.
The one thing I am stuck on is the Read/Write/Latch/Touch functions per channel. Ideally what I would like to do is map the unmapped function buttons on the touch one to these functions so I can easily set the channel I am on to that mode and then start recording my automation. (I would even settle for a hotkey mapping on my normal keyboard, just something faster than me having to use the mouse/drop down menu).
I have done a lot of research and can't seem to find a way to do it. Theoretically, it should be possible as the full-sized x touch has dedicated buttons for this that do seem to work. I have also seen online that other control surfaces are able to switch these modes inside Audition "Audio Track Mixer" panel so I know audition supports it in the Mackie/midi protocol as well. It doesn't appear that Audition has the option to map it inside their built-in button mapping. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?
Thanks so much, and sorry if the answer is already online somewhere, I have spent a few hours on this and haven't found it.
