Your application install seems to be damaged...?

Audition CC 2017 and Experience Design CC (beta) are getting this same error, except Audition still manages to boot up. I've tried reinstalling the programs, the CC app is up to date and I've reinstalled AIR. I don't know what else to do. Should I just do an OS reinstall?

Correct answer Charles VW

This is a generic message from our Installer/Activation stuff and not specific to Audition. Please try some of the stuff from this thread: Your application install seems to be damaged

Can you show a screenshot of the error?

This happens with Premiere (Trial), Audition (Trial) and Experience Design (beta). The only difference is that Premiere and Audition will open despite the error and run smoothly. I've tried reinstalling but nothing changes.

This is on macOS El Capitan 10.11.6

Is this on a Mac or a PC? If it's a PC you could try going back to your last system restore point, although I have no idea what to try with a Mac...
