Zooming horizontally in Audition using mac trackpad

Hi guys

I edit using the CC suite and find it a little annoying how Premiere and Audition don't behave in the same way. Is there a way of changing this in the settings of Audition

?

In Premiere, with the cursor anywhere on the timeline, if I hold alt then do a two finger gesture on the track pad I can zoom in and out horizontally. This is a shortcut I'm used to because I mainly edit video these days. When I use Audition, I can only achieve this when the cursor is on the time bar at the top of the timeline. If I try to do the same with the cursor on the timeline itself, it zooms vertically.

Is there a way of changing this so alt+trackpad is horizontal zooming everywhere so I don't scream at my mac every time I use Audition?

I know there's the alt-+ keyboard shortcut but I'd prefer to use the trackpad

Thanks

I don't know how well Audition is optimised for Trackpad use. However there is the same difference between Premiere and Audition even if you are using a normal keyboard and mouse for control.
