P: Distraction Removal: People (CR & LrClassic)

With the remove tool in Camera Raw 18.6 , it worked well for the people it found, but only about 10% of the people were found and removed. Interestingly, in the masking panel, all the people were selected. In the main Photoshop (Beta) 27.11.0, the remove tool found all of the other people and removed them. 

I used remove people tool in LrC. It removed people but kept a black mark. Appears useless in LrC. Then I edited it in PS 26. It worked very well in PS26.

Photos attached for reference. Could not understand why it worked like that in LrC. I am eager to know. 

I cannot see any way to select the area I do not want to change, as the hint below says. It is all or nothing for me.

Identifies and removes people well enough but the resulting fill is too often wildly off the mark and frequently distorted. Heck of an idea and if perfected would be a great tool, but to me seems to have a ways to go yet.

The identification is good, but the results are not: there are always a lot of imperfections. For good results, it is far better to select them manually.

I was excited to see this feature added, however I was disappointed that when I edit the colors and try to delete people, it doesn't match the color edits in background. I tried doing the people extraction BEFORE I edit but then when I went to add my preset color it puts the deleted people back to the image??
