P: Distraction Removal: People (CR & LrClassic)

There are a lot of faults, but all in all, for what it does, it’s quite magic.  Those brought up on Photoshop will probably continue to do it that way, but I was brought up, so to speak, on LrC and find Ps a PITA.  I’ll happily continue to use LrC people removal.  Where it doesn’t do exactly what I’d like, that’s just too bad.  Few things are all things to all people.

More often than not, there is an “unexpected error”. If it doesn’t work most of the time, it should not be rolled out.

I tried it - sometimes do great work - sometimes removed to much (in my case the person plus a rock beside him)

Often works well, but in many situations leaves silhouettes of the people removed.

There’s like a shape left after removal. It used to blend well before.

Subtract. Don't add.. Don't just add different people missing limbs, just remove and replace the fence they are leaning on. I swear one Time this program added a pile of Poop!  I should’ve taken a screen shot of it.

The feature does not always select the correct people to remove. It would be ideal to be able to brush over additional people or remove parts of the auto selection.

Was working before in camera raw on my HEDTC trying it now on a good laptop all running windows 11 64 bit this feature will not work at all, shooting on a Nikon Z 6III in raw.

It selected and removed distracting people very well but left the subject group of people.  Try as I may, I couldn’t find a way to remove anyone from the subject group.  Using the remove tool didn’t help either.  It left adjoining people distorted and substituted some random person.
In the Adobe demo video, it showed all people selected and removed.  My LrC selects only those in the background.  I’m running LrC 15.4.1.
