Announcing a new feature now in Adobe Camera Raw (17.2) – Removal of Distracting People

Under the Remove dialog, under Distraction Removal, we have added an item called “People”.

This feature supports faster and easier detection and removal of distracting people in an image. It is offered as a Tech Preview in the Adobe Camera Raw Plugin-only and is available now. Please try it out and let us know what works well, what doesn’t work well, and anything that might improve the experience.

More then 20 distracting people on my picture, only 1 is selected. Would it not be simpler if all people were selected each with a + or - so i can dicide.

Would be good if you can "add" distractions as it misses' some which I think should be included in the "distractions".

Does remove people but replaces them with other objects. In one instance a large green can.

Image through a glass with obvious reflection of people cannot remove either using the reflection or the remove people tool. AI failed to recognize an obvious human face in front of a bear behind the glass at a zoo.

Worked perfectly! removed about 7 people in a lanscapre setting in front of a building.

There are two kids in the background of my photo. I'm using the Lightroom tool. It detected and removed the kids perfectly, but replaced them with one AI generated kid. If the whole purpose of the tool is to remove distracting people, why would it add another distracting person?

Yes this has got to be a bug that will get resolved. Even the current AI
delete tool will sometimes replace people or objects with other people
which is also not expected. Delete means delete.

Clear drop in quality when using people distraction removal I wish we could shoose the settings (quality, resolution etc...) additionally feather/adjust masks generated
