P: Lens Profile requests and information

Lens Profiles apply to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem products (Desktop, Mobile, and Web).

Lens Profiles are available for a wide array of lenses. Not every lens is currently profiled, and of those profiled, not all are profiled for all camera and file types. For example, there may be a profile for a particular lens and camera mount for the raw file but not for the JPEG. Normally, profiles for JPEG are not supplied unless the camera does not apply a correction (e.g. iPhone, GoPro).

A complete list of profiled lenses can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html
other helpful info: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/lens-profile-support.html#Supported_lenses

Lens correction for all Micro 4/3 (MFT) lenses and many newer cameras, including Panasonic and Olympus cameras, and other cameras (including Fuji X,  Leica Q, and Nikon Z series)plus many point-and-shoot models from Canon) happens automatically without any interaction by the customer. A notation will appear in the Lens Correction Panel designating this.

Note: You should not expect to find any profiles listed in the pop-up notes, because the corrections are always applied.

If you are unsure whether your lens is supported automatically refer to the "info" button/icon on the Lens Corrections tab.

If your lens is not on the supported lens list and is not one of those whose correction happens automatically, you can create your own profiles using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator. Download the Adobe Lens Profile Creator: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/digital-negative.html#resources

If you desire an Adobe-created Lens Profile, please make your request in the comments of this thread. Be sure to include the full lens model/description and the camera mount you desire. ETAs for new lens profiles are not available.

Keep in mind that lens profiles cannot be made for tilt/shift lenses, and the tilt or shift settings cannot be recorded in the Exif data. A feature request exists here for Tilt-Shift Lens Profiles: https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-ideas/p-lens-profiles-for-tilt-shift-lens/idi-p/12221166

Note: The Lens Profile Creator is currently supported for Windows and 32-bit Versions of the Mac OS.

ETAs are not available for any lens request.

Dear Adobe,

Please add a profile for Laowa 12mm FF2 F2.8 C&D-Dreamer Lens.

Canon RF mount specifically for me, although I assume the other mounts will display same characteristics.

Thank you

For many years, I have been using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to create photographic works (primarily snapshots and portraits of actor friends), live-action short films, animations, reference materials for illustrations, and to actually produce those works (drawing and painting in Photoshop).

Thanks as always!

May I request profiles for the following older F-mount Nikkor lenses?

I use these lenses for my creative work. As of 2026, users cannot create their own profiles, so I would greatly appreciate your assistance with this matter.

1 NIKKOR-UD Auto 20mm F3.5

(It appears there is already an option in the profile selection menu, but it is labeled "Ai."

However, this lens is a non-Ai lens. The "Ai" designation refers to lenses that Nikon modified for compatibility at the time, and the actual specifications differ from those at the time of the original release. I would appreciate it if you could verify the accuracy and correct the names or profiles as necessary.)

2 NIKKOR-H Auto 28mm (/2.8cm) F3.5

3 NIKKOR-N Auto 24mm F2.8

4 NIKKOR-O Auto 35mm F2

5 NIKKOR-S Auto 50mm F1.4
(It appears there is also a lens called the NIKKOR-S・C Auto 50mm F1.4; although it lacks the (・C) notation indicating single-layer coating, I would appreciate it if you could create an entry for this lens as well.)

6 NIKKOR-H Auto 85mm F1.8

7 NIKKOR-Q Auto 135mm F2.8

8 NIKKOR-Q Auto 200mm F4

That is all.
If these lenses are already registered, please update their names to the correct notation (e.g., NIKKOR-UD Auto 20mm F3.5 AI → NIKKOR-UD Auto 20mm F3.5 (Ai/non-Ai)) and modify the profiles to more accurately reflect the lenses’ characteristics.

By the way, detailed explanations of the technical and optical characteristics of the above lenses and related models can be found in the "Nikkor: A Thousand and One Nights" section (titled "Nikkor Senya Ichiya Monogatari" in Japanese) on Nikon’s official website (written by Nikon engineers).

I believe this information is posted somewhere on these pages.

I’ve included this information here in the hope that it might be of some help.

If possible, I would like these profiles to provide accurate corrections for both cameras with APS-C sensors and those with full-frame sensors.

I’ve been using Adobe software since my days as an art student, and I intend to continue using it. I apologize for the lengthy message, but I would appreciate it if you could consider my request.

Dear Adobe Imaging Team,
I am writing to you on behalf of the R&D team at Enlaps, a French company specializing in professional long-term time-lapse solutions. Our Tikee camera series is widely used by professional photographers and industrial sectors worldwide to capture high-resolution imagery in DNG format.
To enhance the post-processing workflow for our users in Adobe Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw, we have developed comprehensive Lens Calibration Profiles (.LCP). These profiles provide precise corrections for:

    Geometric Distortion.
    Lateral Chromatic Aberration (LCA).

The lens overcast/vignetting (LSC) is not included in this LCP file since this data is already embedded in the DNG file itself, in the opcode, for automatic corrections.
We would like to submit these profiles for official integration into a future release of your software. We believe this native support would greatly benefit our mutual users who rely on Adobe’s ecosystem for their professional time-lapse production.

Technical Details for Matching:

    Make: ENLAPS
    Models: Tikee

Both our Tikee Mini + and Tikee 4 cameras provide DNG files of the same resolution and characteristics.
We have prepared a package including the .LCP files and sample DNG images (calibration charts and real-world scenes) for your validation.
Could you please let us know the preferred procedure for submitting these files to your engineering team for review?
Thank you for your time and for your continuous support of the photography community.
Best regards

Loïck from the ENLAPS-R&D team
