For a complete overview of camera support in Photoshop and Lightroom, visit the following article:

Why doesn't my version of Photoshop or Lightroom support my camera?

  1. Make sure your version of Photoshop or Lightroom is updated for the latest camera support.
  2. If you own an older version of Photoshop or Lightroom, Adobe provides backward compatibility for the latest cameras through the FREE Adobe DNG Converter.

Note: ETAs for specific cameras are not available

I have the same problem, even after the latest update. When is this problem going to be fixed?

Can’t figure out how to post my question there. Also, it’s not called RAW but ARW., but maybe it’s the same file type under a different name

Please provide a clarification regarding Sony A7V RAW files. We expect full support for all RAW options. We want to edit uncompressed RAW files and work with a non-beta profile. We have been waiting for proper support for a very long time. When editing RAW files in the profile that is marked as beta, both presets and manual color adjustments perform very poorly. Many users are experiencing these same issues.

Hi —

I wanted to check in on the status of Sony A7V RAW support in Lightroom. Do we have any updated timeline on when this will be available? I have clients currently waiting on deliveries, and it’s been challenging to communicate next steps without a clear target date.

These are wedding galleries that need to be delivered this month, so any update you can share — even an estimated timeframe — would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, there is still no full RAW support for the Sony A7V. I have clients waiting. Is there a timeline, when there is full support for its raw files? Converting all photos is not an option and not working as it is supposed to.

Really appreciate your help.

Hoping for Vivo series phones in the future, at least the X200 Ultra series. Currently they are some of the best phone cameras on the market.
All the cameras on the phone have 'large' (by phone standards) sensors behind their lenses. Hoping to see them get support in Camera RAW soon.

Thanks in advance!

They also have a decent 7% global market share.
Not that obscure of a brand, but not popular outside of Asia.

I cannot open OM-5 Mark II RAW files even after installing ACR 17.4.2 plugin on MacOS.  What should I do?

@malcolm_4958: "cannot open OM-5 Mark II RAW files even after installing ACR 17.4.2 plugin on MacOS. "

Do you mean that after installing CR 17.4.2, you can't open the raws in LR Classic or LR Deskotp? The two LR apps have their own version of the CR engine built-in, and updating the CR plugin used by Bridge and Photoshop won't affect LR Classic or LR Desktop.  You'll have to wait until new versions of those apps are released, probably this week or the next. (I have no inside information.)

LR 14.5 just released. It may take some hours for it to show up in your Creative Cloud desktop app.

It has been nearly two m onths since the release of this new camera but there is still no support for it's RAW files (.orf) in LR Classic. I find that somewaht extraordinary - please release an update ti include this latest OM file format Adobe. I know I can use Bridge, but that is a truly clumsy system and I can't wait to use my normal workflow with this camera. Frustrating!

Adobe published normally updates for Lightroom (including support for new camera) at intervals of approx. 8 weeks.

The latest update was released at mid of June so the next update should be released in the next one or two weeks.

Adobe doesn't give any informations about the release date, so we have to be patient and wait

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 5 - Topaz Photo
