Hi,

Hope someone can guide me, I am trying to convert RAW C3 images using Adobe DNG Converter version 15.3.1 on my MacOS Catalina version 10.15.7.

I am getting the following error message "There was an error parsing the file".

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this?

Thank you

Actually, the converter is found on this Adobe FTP:

ftp://ftp.adobe.com//pub/adobe

Log in as a guest. Then go to the DNG folder for Mac:

Apologies it is Adobe DNG Converter Version 13.0 and not version 15.3.1

The lastest version is 15.3.0; try that.

Thank you, unfortunatly version 15.3.0 is not support on MacOS Catalina version 15.10.7. Hence I need to use the older version of DNG.

Can you upload one of the CR3's to something like Dropbox so we can test?

Is it possible this was shot as sRaw or something similar or it is a true CR3 raw?

Thank you. Yes I can, or I can upload it here for you.

It is true CR3.

IF the version of the converter is older than one which supports a newer camera, you can't convert.

See: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
This will show you the cameras and versions of ACR/LR/DNG is supported.
