if I want quiz questions to just be a way for learners to learn through discovery, can I set the question points value to zero on those slides and have the questions in a final knowledge check at the end count for points?

Yes or you could uncheck Add to Quiz Score (it helps when you tell which version you are using). Check Advanced Interaction to see all scored objects and the correct maximum possible score.

However you have to be aware of the fact that some quizzing system variables, like the one with the total number of questions, will keep track of all questions. The obtained and total score vars will be correct, as they appear on the score slide, but the total number of questions maybe not.

Thank you. I'm working in captivate 8 and the Lms is success factors. I'm not sure yet if I can tell sf to just look for a percentage correct. I will let you know if this worked. When would I use a quiz widget as opposed to a quiz slide?

Normally the only data transferred to LMS are score or percentage, those

    system cars will be correct.

What do you mean by quiz widget? AFAIK there are only two quiz widgets: à

MCQ incluses wifi CP and thé D&D question widget by Infosemantics.
