360 images in an elearning course

Hello, Is it possible to use a 360 image within a wider mixed media elearning course e.g. a few slides of content, a quiz, a video and then an interactive 360 image? Or does it have to be a stand alone VR slide published out?

Thanks, Lou

That is perfectly possible, just start a normal (non-responsive) project instead of a VR project. You can add a 360° slide with a static image or a video using the last option in the menu under the big button Slides. Maybe this blog post where I explained its relation to the Timeline can help:

Thank you for the quick response!  We've built a module in Artiuclate Storyline, published to LMS and 360 images wont work on Surface pro touch screen, only with a mouse. We're looking for an alternative authoring tool that will allow us to create a mixed media elearn with 360 images that can be used on a windows 10 touch screen (e.g. Surface Pro used as a tablet) as we have 2500 employees that use this type of device - do you know if the output will work on this type of device?

That is a different question. I should have to check it out, which is possible because one of my systems is a Surface Pro. Which version of Captivate do you use? It is not the most recent one, version 12, because it still has no possibility to embed 360° slides. I will try to find a test moment... However, it may also be a problem due to the LMS. I can test only locally.
