360 product photo with hotspots. Possible?

Hi

We ar working on a course for a product and was thinking of using a 360 (3d) image of the product that the user can turn around using the mouse/finger. To explore the buttons/settings on the product we woould like to use hotspots. The hotspots would be attached and follow the product around the product when its turned.

Could be alot to ask for but is this a possibility in captivate ?

I am afraid that this is not possible in version 10 and 11. 3D is completely missing in the most recent version 12. You can have an environment taken with a 360° camera and have hotspots in that environment, but a 3D object which you manipulate? Example: I helped a health clinic for a course where a 3D photo of a skills lab was used, hotspots were added to explain the situation and possible workflows. It is like the opposite of what you want to do.

I am very sorry. When they released the 360° slides I was very excited, but there was never any improvement nor extension of the features in later releases, bit disappointing. I perfectly understand what you want to do, but at this moment not in Captivate.
