Abode Captivate Classic x64 - Preview publish error - Publish Failed

Hi all,

I am using CpC (captivate x64/captivate classic) and have been trying to preview and publish an interactive video.
No. of slides: 2
slide 1 has a video with buttons and a layover question added to it.
slide 2 is the question that needs to pop up.
When trying to preview with HTML5 browser, receiving an error stating "Publish Failed". Same error for all other preview options as well.

NOTE: I initially has low disc space due to which this wasn't getting published. I've now freed up some space from my C drvie and yet I am getting the same error.

Can anyone help or guide me here?

I have published some interactive videos, but not yet with Captivate Classic (11.8) which has more bugs than 11.5.5.

Some tips: clear the cache, clean the Preferences and try again. See

Check with the HTML tracker if you don't have some SWF-related items. Most have been taken out in this version, but to be sure. I hope you are not using a networked Documents folder, or maybe synchronizing it with OneDrive?

Which browser is your default browser? Did you test with other browsers? Use Edge or Chrome.
