ac8 - quiz answer feedback caption is placed inappropriately

Hi, when using ac8 - 8.0.1.242

with a new project and any theme applied, when i add a multiple choice question, click properties, advanced answer options, show feedback message.... the answer feedback caption is placed in the upper right corner with each answers feedback caption cascaded over each other.   this should be in the lower and a more centred area of the screen.   i have to change every single caption position for every slide to correct, very tedious.  i have watched many videos showing that the default location should be more appropriate than that.


i cannot find an answer feedback caption in the master slide in order to change it's position properties.


if i select the  answer feedback caption in the timeline question slide, then on properties, position, i am able the change the position and object size do show what is appropriate, but how can I make these new appropriate settings the default for the theme I am using?

    Go to the dedicated Quiz Master slides, and check the size/position of the SFH captions (or shapes). It looks like this theme has been edited a lot, the progress indicator has also changed position. Better save the theme again after editing the master slides, the question slides will take on the new layout.

    I have tried what you suggested, however in my quiz master slides in my theme, all the placeholders appear to be there EXCEPT the answer feedback caption placeholder.  I have searched all available areas in the worksheet, all other placeholders appear to be there, and I can manipulate them for size, location... except for the answer feedback caption.  as a test i deleted the question title placeholder, and i was able too do that.   then i was unsure on how to add it back.   how can I add the answer feedback placeholder to my theme's quiz master slides?  i checked all the quiz master slides and none of them have the answer feedback placeholder.  see attached image of the mcq quiz master, notice no placeholder for the answer feedback.

    I have a problem with terms: what do you mean by 'answer feedback caption'? There is a Correct, Incorrect, Retry, and the one you see at this moment (You must answer) caption on each master slide, they all sit at the same location, you have to move the top one to see the others. Since you don't see what you call 'answer feedback caption' on that master slide, this has to be a custom caption that has been added by someone on the question slide, and it is NOT on the quiz master slide.

    What are the properties of that specific caption, can you see its timeline on the quiz slide? And how does it get its value, is there an advanced action? If you see its timeline on the slides, you can use the Options tab of that caption, resize and relocate it, and apply that to all the captions with the same style. That supposes that all those captions use indeed a specific style. You don't know anything about the changes made to this theme?
