Question

Accessing Reference Material During a Quiz

Is it "doable" to create a quiz where the user can go outside of the quiz to search reference material to find answers to the quiz questions. For example, the goal is to create a quiz which will determine a clinician's proficiency with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) application. The idea would be to create a series of slides which would replicate the EMR to serve as reference material the clinician would have to search in order to answer the quiz questions.

Would this "work," or is there a better  way to achieve the goal? (FYI...dual monitors are not an option.)

If your module contains screenshots replicating the screens seen in the actual application then I don't see how this is any different to other situations where Captivate is used to create a software simulation where the user's actions are scored and report to the quiz.

Thanks Rod for your quick response. Can you advise me how to set it up in Captivate so the quiz taker can navigate back and forth between the reference slides and the quiz?

I'm kind of busy with a deadline project at the moment.

Look up the HELP files or Google for info about using Captivate's Return to Quiz feature.
