ACE Certification

I’m an Instructional Designer at a major hospital and I’m looking at the Adobe ACE certification (for Captivate 5).  I’d like to know a couple of things:

1. Has anyone here certified, and if so, what are your impressions of the process

2. Is there a single, quantified study source that you’d recommend?
