Question

Add another Failure Shape

Hi,

I'm curious to see if it is possible to add more than one failure shape to a slide in training mode.

Essentially, I have a failure shape already (an arrow), but I'd also like to include an additional failure shape that prompts and answers "why" this is the correct answer.

I can't duplicate the existing failure shape, nor can I add a second shape and give it a default failure shape style and make it work.

Is this possible within Captivate? I'm running the latest version of Captivate 8.

Thank you!

Another possible permutation of this request works as follows:

In training mode, the learner clicks the wrong area and a "failure" shape containing a message pops up, giving a "hint" such as "Please click ."

If the learner then clicks the wrong area once again, a different "failure" shape emerges, such as an arrow prompting the user where to click.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you.

Is this on a quiz question slide or a normal slide with an interactive object such as a button or click box?

This is a software simulation training slide, so it requires the learner to click the correct button.

I have configured the training slides *not* to be included within the quiz score in the end, as that is the particular style that suits our goals.
