Add smart shape in caption on quiz slide

Hi!

I´m trying to add a smart shape on a question slide in the failure and success captions. However, the shapes aren´t visible and I can´t add audio which is my main purpose. I want the participant to have the option to click on the smart shape when they have answered a question and the success or failure caption shows, and by clicking on the shape the audio plays. Adding smart shapes with this function on other parts of the question slides works fine, I just have problems with the failure and success captions.

I use Captivate version 8.

Kind regards, Gunilla

You want to use a smarshape as a success or failure message from click boxes? No able sorry, success and failure messages are set on the Capation Type you can use a bitmap file.

Ok, thanks. Just another question – can the "submit button" be programmed so an advanced action is performed – i.e if the participant choses the right answer and press the submit button, an audio is played, and if the wrong answer is chosen, a different audio is played?

If this doesn´t work, do you hav any suggestion how I can add audio (voice-over) to question slides so the feed-back in the success/failure captures can be played upon request?

    Kind regards, Gunilla

I just posted an answer that is correcting the answer of the other user.

You cannot program the Submit button: it will launch the actions On Success or Last Attempt of the Quiz slide. You can use those actions. More clarification about question slide design:
