Adding Animate CC Animations in Captivate 9

Has anyone experimented with adding character animations, such as a person or bacterial character into a captivate project. I am exploring an idea for an infection control based learning module using an animated character, created in animate cc and character animator cc. I believe both programs export the animations in html 5 utilizing javascript etc and I was curious if anyone had tried anything like it and what their experiences were.

I am relatively new to captivate and like the interactive potential animation could have for branching and scenario based learning I just have not seen many examples or heard many discussions about it. Obviously I could emulate what I want to do using object states and for this project, I may end up going that route due to time and resource restraints . I would appreciate any thoughts regarding this and the potential of using it.

I hope I am understanding your question correctly, I am not sure if this will be much help, but you can add flash animation file into Captivate. You just need to convert them to a SWF file. To do this conversion you must have the latest version of Animate. Last time I checked there were some tutorials on Youtube that demonstrated how to do this. Hope this helpful.

Thanks shanew7171 for taking the time to respond. Yea I had considered this. My constraint is thinking about browsers moving away from flash to more html 5 animations through animate. For the time being I am just experimenting to see how to make this work. I chose a different direction for my project at this time but have the groundwork laid for some downtime experimenting at a later date. I may do a blog of it and the results and challenges faced sometime later this year.

I have used Animate CC to create OAM's which can be imported directly in Captivate. Of course I have played with Character animator coming with AE (lot of fun), but couldn't find a way to insert them in Captivate.  To be honest, I'm not a programmer, this could probably be done but I didn't succeed.
