Question

Adding Audio after Video Finishes

Hello,

I am using Captivate 3.  Is there a way to add audio after a video finishes in the same slide?  Alternatively, is there a way to add a second or two of silence after a video finishes and before going to the next slide?  I am having trouble managing the timing of video slides in a project.  I have introductory audio at the beginning and have the video appearing after the audio finishes.  The problem is that when the video finishes, the next slide begins immediately and the learner really has no time to integrate the final words in the video.

Does anyone have any ideas?  I appreciate any help you can offer.

Hi there,

You can add silence after the video by increasing the slide time in the timeline. Just drag the 'Slide' layer in the timeline to include silence at the end of the slide. Screen shot attached.

Thanks,

Sagarika
