Adding interactive hotspots to 3D assets to publish on website.

Hi,

Newbie to Captivate here.

I'm trying to create an interactive model to our company website, where the users can spin the 3D model however they like. I want to add hotspots on them that they can click and see text or images as well.

I saw on a video how 360 pano images can be edited this way on captivate, but I'm not sure if we can do this to 3D assets as well?

It's for a machine and we have it's solidworks file. Can I use captivate to edit it? What formats do I export it to from Solidworks to import it into Captivate?
