Question

Adding pixels to a Breakpoint without distorting smart shapes

I am creating a responsive design in Captivate 9, and want to have a slide in my mobile portrait profile extend longer. So when I go to add more pixels, instead of just adding pixels at the bottom of the slide, it adds to the entire slide and stretches out my smart shapes to fill the entire page in proportion to the increased heights.  I don't want that to happen.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks so much for any help.

Thanks for pointing me in the right position.  What works is keeping the objects absolute and using pixels for all position settings, including the master slide elements. This "locks down" the objects and keeps them in position as I add more space to the bottom of the slide.

All depends on the settings in the Position Properties panel for the objects for which you want to keep the width/height ratio. That is possible by setting either the width or the height to Auto. I don't know what you choose as units for the width - height?
