Adding states to grouped objects.

Hello,

Is it possible to add a state to grouped objects?  An example is I have a button but it consists of two objects.  When the student hovers or clicks either one of the objects, I wont both shapes to react as if they have both been selected. I currently have them grouped but the state option is no longer available.

I am currently using Captivate 9.

Many thanks!

Why two objects? I suspect you are using a shape and an image, but you can

fill a shape with that image. AFAIK states for grouped objects are not

possible but you can have multiple objects in a state.

    Hover State

    Click State

    Original State

Sorry I had to blur the information out - company policy.  It's a scenario based slide.  They then have to select the correct option.  The first darker box is the answer, the lighter long box is the definition.  I have to include the definition of each item because it has not been provided to them in advance.  It's more of a pre-test to get them thinking about the different scenarios they would need to use these options on and provide the definitions at the same time.

I would like a hover and click state, so its obvious it should be clicked. I'm pretty new to captivate and design.

So feel free to give me any suggestions you have.  I am very open to feedback.

    Thanks!
