Question

Adjusting the timing of a button

It seems that I used to drag the 2 little vertical to the left or right in order to control where I wanted the slide to pause until the user clicks. I am embarrassed to say that I have fogotten how to do this. When I try to drag the "control point" it doesn't move. What step/command am I leaving out?

Thanks,

Al

    Hi Al

I think placing the mouse for this action is a bit tricksy. You normally have to be juuuust a fuzz to the right of the pause point. Once there, the pointer should change to one that looks like two vertical bars with left and right arrows.

If all else fails, try double-clicking the button, clicking the Options tab and adjusting it manually by changing the Pause after value.

Cheers and happy Friday the 13th! Rick

I appreciate your response but regrettably I was uable to get the 2vertical bars with double arrows to appear. Also there is no "Pause after" value in the Options tab.

    Thanks,

    Al

    Hi Al

If you hover the object in either the editor or the Timeline, what type of object is it revealing it to be? My guess is that it's not a button object as you listed in your post.

    Cheers... Rick
