Question

Adobe branding

I have searched the forum, as I am sure this topic must have been raised before, but cannot find a definitive answer.
I am considering upgrading to Captivate 3, but my clients are very unimpressed by the appearance of the Adobe logo at every possible opportunity. I can select a playback control which does not show it, but when the Info button is clicked, the panel includes the Adobe logo as well as the phrase "powered by".
My clients' customers are not interested in who powered the demo, and my clients are only interested in demonstrating their product, not Adobe's.
I have been told that unless all instances of the Adobe logo can be suppressed so that my clients' brand is the only one seen, that the software cannot be used.
As Captivate 3 contains a number of features which would be useful to me, it would be a pity if I can't use it, so if anyone knows how to get rid of this annoying logo, I would be grateful to know as with things as they stand, it looks as though I shall have to use Mimic or Camtasia.

    Hi B-Collie

I totally understand your position. You may wish to check with fellow Adobe Community Expert Paul Dewhurst at his RaisingAimee site to see if you can contract with him to create a special widget that will do this. Paul is very creative in this space.

    Cheers... Rick

    Thank you, Rick.

I was sure I could not be alone with this dilemma!
