Adobe Captivate 2019 files won't open in adobe captivate 9

is there any way I can open a file (saved using adobe cp 2019) in adobe captivate 9?? I have a licensed adobe captivate 9 and tried adobe captivate 2019. Now, my trial expired and need to finish the project so I used my adobe captivate 9 but cannot open the file. wtd?

That has always been the case. You cannot open a file created in a newer version of Captivate in an older one. Sorry but you'll have either to upgrade or to recreate.
