i am using windows 7 ultimate . i installed adobe captivate without any issue one week ago. but this time i can not install. i did not have any windows set up in the meanwhile
1) is that captivate problem ?
or)
2) is that windows issue ? so that i should contact windows support

Please Right Click on Captivate Icon and then Run it as admin .
We can also try to reset the Preferences for Captivate 8 and then see if that works
In order to reset Please rename the Captivate 8.0 folder to Captivate 8_old at below location
C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Captivate 8.0.
As I can see that your version of Captivate is not updated , You may download and Install the patch using the link below.
