Adobe Captivate 8: Narration not playing

When I create a Captivate 8 project that is longer than 1 minute, the narration I provide cannot be hear during preview.  It is heard if I do a test project and only record for about 1 minute.   I don't understand what could be going wrong.   Thank you.
