Adobe Captivate 8 Problem

If I were to rent Adobe Captivate 8 but then stopped after a few months would I be able to keep and still edit the files I have already made, do they get wiped, or can I access the files but no longer edit them?

    Pretty sure that if you choose monthly payments, you still have to sign up for a year.

    You cannot edit the files if you don't have the program.

    Yes, our company uses Captivate almost daily.

    I don't believe you can just rent it for few months anymore. I think there is a 1 year minimum.

    The files are not wiped out.

    The website still gives you the option to choose a monthly payment or to buy in full so i'll have to look into that. The company I work for are looking to use it in the near future but do not watch to buy it out right just yet and the 30 day trial is obviously to short.

    If we weren't paying for the program anymore would we still be able to edit what we have already done?

    Do you yourself use the program?
