Adobe Captivate 9 doesn't open

Hi,

I have purchased Adobe Captivate 9 few months ago and worked on some projects but today, out of the blue, the program doesn't open anymore.

I'm working from a corporate PC; I suspect it might be influenced by the Windows updates but, since I'm not an IT person, I don't know what could the problem.

Could you please help me?

    You could try clearing your preferences. On a windows machine this is done by a program found at

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 9 x64\utils\CleanPreferencesWin.bat

    It fixed a lot of errors I was having with 9.

    Sorry just posted this, the answer above from the wizard Rod didn't show up on my screen. I wouldn't of posted otherwise, he knows his stuff. For future ref clearing your Pref and Cache does fix a lot of gremlins.

    There was a recent update to address this issue.  Please ask your IT department to ensure your Captivate installation is updated to 9.0.2.437.
