Adobe Captivate 9 How to start Preview when recording audio?

When I first started using Captivate 9, I was able to hit the record audio button and the preview of a slide with objects on the timeline would start automatically.  I can no longer do this, and the preview feature crashes the audio window.  How can I enable the original behavior?
