[Adobe Captivate 9] Keystroke gets stuck / repeating while typing

I'm recording a few Simulations with Adobe Captivate 9 (always with the latest updates), and part of those demonstrations include typing some text. I can type most text just fine, but now and then a keystroke will get stuck repeating, for example, if I wanted to type "Hello World!", I might end up with "Hello Worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" and so on until I press backspace or something.

It might occur shortly after I start typing, or only after I've typed nearly a paragraph, but it will occur more often than not. The problem never happens when I'm typing without recording with Cp9. I've tried typing at a steady rate, and at lower or faster rates, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

I'm typing on several different software like SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio. The PC I'm using seems adequate – a Core i7 with 8Gb RAM and dedicated video running Windows 7 Professional – to perform these recordings, even when also running more demanding software like Visual Studio.

Does this problem happen to anyone else? Does anyone know how to solve it, or at least make it occur less often?

Are you sure it is not linked with Sticky Keys in Windows (7 or10)?

I'm sure this is not the case – the problem never occurs when I'm typing on these softwares whithout Captivate recording it...

It was just an idea, cannot help you further. Some applications simply don't get captured well by Captivate.

Since you mention 'demonstration', not training nor assessment mode, did you not think about using the Video Demo application which you can start from Captivate?
