Adobe Captivate accessibility

Hi all

I have a couple of questions re Adobe Captivate accessibility that I've not managed to find answers to as yet.

  1. Mark up is basically a large amounts of <div> elements with no semantic meaning. Is there any way of amending the div tags to improve semantic meaning in HTML5?
  2. There is no way for keyboard to play/control video. This applies when a video is added to the project or embedded as a web object.

Can you help with this?

Thanks

James

    1. You can edit the index.html file and the css files when you publish your Captivate HTML5 course. I have tried to run the course in Dreamweaver but could not edit any of the div elements, but I am fairly inexperienced so there may be a way.

    2. You have two options. You can package your video with a custom html video file in a zip file as an HTML5 Animation as is described here in this post: https://forums.adobe.com/message/8469811#8469811

Or you can add the video to your project as a Multi-Slide Synchronized video. This will allow users to control the video through the playbar controls or through custom buttons.
