Question

Adobe Captivate and Creative Cloud Libraries?

I am wondering why Adobe Captivate doesn't have integration with the Adobe Creative Cloud libraries? Is this in your plans for the future? Our team of elearning media designers would greatly benefit from access to content in our creative cloud libraries. Images, swatches, and color palettes from Adobe Color.  Also, integration of web fonts from Typekit and Google fonts would be incredibly useful to EVERY captivate user. Google's free fonts are spectacular and could help drive interest in elearning design.

Even the creation of a plugin that can be added for those who want to use it would be incredibly useful for designers creating e-learning.

Hi!

There actually is some slight integration with Captivate and CC Libraries, and there is also integration with Adobe Typekit!

I just created my first video for a new Video Blog I am creating, called "10+ Hacks with Captivate and the Creative Cloud" both of these above topics will be in my videos.... I will try to post another next week.

So its not really perfect... but it could possibly come in handy. You can click Assets, and then "Get Adobe Stock Assets" and you can search for images or image ideas and then hover over the cloud icon to select the little up arrow icon

Click the icon, and then you can save images to your CC Libraries

So they are available in Photoshop or other Adobe app Libraries. And on the UPPER RIGHT Of the same screen you will see a "Libraries" drop down, and should be able to view YOUR Creative Cloud Libraries

With text, you can select your Text and you will see the "TK" icon to the right of the font dropdown - that will bring you to Typekit.com to add new fonts.

Then when you click Publish, you will have to add the domain that will host the Typekit fonts.

Hope this helps, and lets hope it gets smoother... because they are great necessary features!

Cheers,
mark

You cannot access the CC Libraries directly from Captivate, which is possible from Captivate Draft. I know that you can get stock images, but you don't have the full access to the Libraries which is really a pity. I do use Stock images, but have to use either Photoshop or Illustraytor to check them, to edit and then save in a location where I can access them from Captivate. I want to be able to access my color palettes and a lot of other assets which I have in those CC Libraries.

Typekit is not a problem, integration works fine.

I would love to see CC Library integration in Captivate as well. Where do you go to request a feature?

Did you launch feature requests? I did for both: CC Libraries (available in Draft) and Typekit integration.

Hi Lilybiri, I did not. I will go ahead and do that. What do you mean by: (available in Draft)?

CC Libraries are available in Captivate Draft (iPad) but not in Captivate which is very weird.
