Adobe Captivate Classic center image not changing even when selecting different slides in filmstrip

Hi! I'm using Adobe Captivate Classic. I'm on version 11.8.2 (latest version).

What is happening is upon opening the project, the center image gets stuck on the first slide and doesn't change.

I've recorded a video here: https://youtu.be/YO1w1aQJIlg - set to unlisted, but if you click the link, you should be able to watch it.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. I tried changing the installer location. I've cleared the cache and the keychain. I'm not sure what else to do. Is this a bug with Adobe?

You are a Mac user.

Can you find the subfolder 'utils' under the installation folder. It has a CleanPreferencesMac file, which you should run while Captivate is closed. I am not sure if that 'keychain' approach is really deleting the customized Preferences (which may be corrupt) and replace them with a fresh set. It is the first time (I am on this forum daily since 15 years) that I hear about that 'keychain'.

I also had this a couple of times, more on your version than on 11.5.5. Relaunching Captivate sometimes helps, restarting system as well. Did you already try to clean the Preferences? I don't know what you mean by 'keychain' maybe a Mac thing? I am on Windows.

Yes, I'm on the newest version, and cleaning the keychain is cleaning the
chance and preferences. One of the Adobe articles said something about old
certificates, so I tried this and had no luck. I still have the same issue.

I've tried restarting my computer as well and it's still not working 😞

I could try turning my computer off and leaving it off for an hour or so
though. I just turned it off, counted to ten, and turned it back on.
