Adobe Captivate crashes every time I click the text box

Hi there,

So I have a few issues. I saved my project on Thursday and retuned to it Monday and when I opened it --all the text was gone!

I read that folks had similar issues but when they "clicked" on the text it reappeared. When I clicked on the text on the first slide it just closed the program and says "Adobe Captivate Quit Unexpectedly' 

I have tired to copy the slides to a new deck, but same thing happens 😞

Any one had this issue--or know of the fix?

Also, question if I uninstall and reinstall captivate, will I lose this current project and my past projects?

And I have never used creative cloud. It always displays this error

“Failed to start CoreSync Could. Not Create ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync

Just not sure it those are related?
