Adobe Captivate doesn't like me anymore! not launching

Hi Team,

 

I got a new laptop and Adobe Captivate doesn't launch. I have tried all the possible solutions the Adobe support team provided, from changing file names under the shared folder in the system files, clearing preferences and deleting fonts.

 

I have even had chat with my screen controlled by the Adobe support team and still no progress and CP doesn't launch.

 

I am wondering why the Adobe developers team doesn't introduce a new install file that fixes all those issues, I find it is unfair to go into windows and change setup, delete fonts ..etc for a single app to work while other Adobe apps like Illustrator and media encoder are working fine.

Most users work under big corporates and don't have admin access to run all this setup and troubleshooting.

 

It is sad to think of shifting our design skills to other authoring tools after excelling at AdobeCaptivate for years, simply because it doesn't launch

    I have same problem, started last week after a windoes update done by IT. Still not up and running. And I have had the same issues earlier, when it was an other update.

    Adobe Support is on it, but I am not sure what more I can do.

    It would be helpful to know more information than you are providing. Are you on Windows or macOS? What version of the operating system you are using? What version of Adobe Captivate are you using (i.e., the whole version number, e.g., 11.5.5.553)? Are you a monthly subscriber, or do you have a perpetual license?

    Adobe Captivate 2019 (64bit) 11.8.0

    Windows 10 Enterprise version 21H2/ OS build 19044.1826

    Monthly subscription

    You didn't need to use 11.8 with Win10. From several users I heard about issues with this most recent version which is necessary for Win11 and Monterey (Mac), or when you use a MA chip (Mac).
