Adobe Captivate free trial issue with installing

I am having trouble installing the free trial of Adobe Captivate. When I go to download it, it doesn't even download a file package, it just opens a new window and asks to install from there. When I do that, it has a problem initializing the adobe installer saying it could be due to a missing file. Why?
