After completely maxing out my hard drive (ouch!) while running Adobe Captivate 7, I am no longer able to launch Captivate. I receive the following error message:

Adobe Captivate has stopped working.

Problem signature:

Fault Module Name: StackHash_3cec

Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0

Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000

Exception Offset: 000003000237eb00

Exception Code: c0000005

Exception Data: 0000000000000008

OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4

Locale ID: 1033

Additional Information 1: 3cec

Additional Information 2: 3cecc7693f9548e87185b6eda2193327

Additional Information 3: fd5e

Additional Information 4: fd5e2a298ce915acddbba99e635c524b

I've seen a few threads on this Problem Event Name, but the fixes don't appear to work in this case. Perhaps because of what triggered this error?

Correct answer Venderley

Contacted Adobe Support. This was an easy fix for Mayank.

He navigated to Users\Venderley\AppData\Local\Adobe. There he found the Captivate 7.0 folder and renamed it "Captivate 7.0_old"

Did the same Users\Venderley\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Captivate 7.0.

Then ran Captivate on my laptop as an administrator.

Captivate reset all my preferences, and now launches.

Hope the this helps anyone else who comes up with a similar issue.
