Adobe Captivate not launching properly

I recently had my workplace install Adobe Captivate so I can create training presentations however when I launch it, it shows the Adobe Captivate image, then it flashes grey, then it flashes black and never proceeds from the black state.

I don't know how to fix this, it just gets stuck on this and nothing ever happens.
