Adobe Captivate play/pause button issue

Captivate project has a playbar.  Each captivate slide has audio. When slide ends and learner, accidentally, clicks the Play/Pause button instead of Forward button, the project moves to the next slide and plays previous slide audio and current slide audio at the same time.  What is coursing the issue and how to prevent it?

    Leave a small gap before and after the audio timeline on each slide:

    When added a small gap before and after the audio timeline, it did make a difference, but I have a transparent pause button on a timeline that prevents slide to advance automatically.  I fixed the issue by adjusting the timeline in reference to the pause button or vice versa.  Thank you very much for responding.
