Adobe Captivate Quiz "Correct" response

I made a simple multiple choice question. When the user answers correctly, I want them to see a message that says soemthing like, "Correct!" but I only want that message to be there for maybe 2-3 seconds, and then I want the project to automatically move to the next slide.

So, I know how to add the correct message. I have it on there now, but they then have to click or "press 'y'" to move to the next slide. I want it to automatically move without user action.

Ideas?

Hi.

If you use the default Correct message of the Question slides, it pauses for a click/keypress after user answers correctly. A simple workaround is to delete the default Correct message caption and replace it with a new text caption with Custom message. After this you can simply hide and show it, if user answers correctly. Doing this, will not pause the Question slide after user answers correctly.

This can be achieved in the following way:

1. Delete the Correct Message caption from the Question Slide.

2. Now add a text caption on Question slide containing the text you want to display, when user answers correctly. For eg : 'Correct' etc.

3. Hide the text caption on slide enter action. (Slide Properties > On Slide enter > Hide > Text Caption item).

4. Go to Question Slide properties and set 'Show > Text caption item' action, when user answers correctly.

Hope this solves your problem.

Thanks
